Our Summer SMART Camps are like no others...
It's all about learning in a fun, yet educational manner. During our Science Summer Camps and Art Camps, we learn 4-5 lessons everyday from how volcanoes erupt, why dry ice smokes, to creating our own planet. We also teach about healthy eating, manners, and responsibility.
During our lunch break we read the food labels, make new friends and watch EARTH or Discovery Channel Videos. It's an all- day summer camp. It's a Full-Day of FUN, they'll never want to leave. So, sign them up for a few weeks and their Summer will be filled with memories that will last forever.
Before and after care isNOT available.
By the way, you can also sign your child up for tutoring in reading, math, study skills, etc. either during their lunch time or directly after camp. But hurry, there are only a few of these slots available.
My Learning Studio thanks all of our wonderful campers that made our 2011 camps a huge success! We learned, explored, discovered, created, erupted, exploded and made sure to have fun the entire time! Please read below for comments from our campers and their parents:
"My Learning Studio makes LEARNING FUN!" Sienna R.
“My daughter is enrolled in another My Learning Studio SMART camp called STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) Science, which is a great jump start to her second year at Riverside’s STEM Academy. I rely on this camp to be a bridge from summer vacation to the school year.” Ruth Strother, Author
"I liked learning all day and the teachers are funny." Chloe P.
“The most important thing that I was looking for in a program was a structured learning environment. My youngest son has ADHD, and is bored easily … When the boys came home from the first day of My Learning Studio SMART Summer Camps, they were excited about the things they were learning! They learned math magic, magic with a deck of cards, they were learning their times tables and they were happy about it!! … The SMART Camp is teaching as well as fun.” Sharon Shanahan, UCR
“At My Learning Studio, I learned a lot. I learned that epsom salt is good for dead skin, plethora means an abundance, and a lot more. It has helped me with learning and getting better at pre-algebra, studying and test taking skills.” Stephanie, age 12.
“I have attended My Learning Studio Summer Camp for two years, and it just keeps getting better and better. Every day is an opportunity to do great, hands-on, artistic projects with fun ways to learn new things. The staff there is very friendly, and they make you feel at home. This is one of the best summer camps to attend, because it boosts creative development in an exciting way … I have always been fascinated by science and art, and My Learning Studio keeps me hungry for more. It is a perfect blend of learning and imagination, which makes the experience extra fun for kids like me to express themselves.” Zurie, age 13
"My Learning Studio is the best Summer Camp ever!" Sierra M.
“The SMART Summer Camps that is presently in place is, in my opinion, are an extension of the educational tutoring that my children received during the school year. This program is preparing them for success in the coming school year by encouraging learning and enriching their lives not only academically, but socially too.” Jaci Hasemeyer, Parent and Business Owner
“Every day my child comes home telling me about all the new things she learned. They tell all the students to tell their parents a minimum of 4 new things they learned EVERY NIGHT! These are enrichment classes, educational based in a non-traditional classroom setting.” Dr. James P. Perkins
"We plan our Summer Vacations around your Summer Camps." Ryan L.
“The Summer Camps provide an exceptional learning environment through hands-on activities, informative staff presentations, and the continued emphasis on building the children’s life skills such as discussing and bringing in healthy foods and having the children prepare and present their projects in front of their peers and parents.” Jennifer Pigeon, Parent & Educator
“Our children come home bubbling with enthusiasm and full of science facts and concepts. They have done interesting science projects and have been challenged to present orally what they have created to parents and other campers at the end of camp. We have been very pleased with what they have learned and the fun, creative methods that have been used to teach the concepts. We have seen them retain and employ this knowledge in regular schools when the same general areas are taught in class.” Kristine & Gillian Wilson, Parents
"I loved blasting the rockets and exploding volcanoes." Charlie S.
“I have been a credentialed teacher for the last 18 years in Riverside Unified School District. I always recommend her Summer SMART camps for the great learning experience that she offers the students during the summer months. My Learning Studio offers diverse classes with topics including math, science, language arts, and art. These classes are often an extension of the learning the students get in school curriculum. As a teacher, I know this is one of the best ways for kids to learn.” Lisa Thomas, Teacher
“My son has been attending summer camps at My Learning Studio for six consecutive years, sometimes attending multiple camps during the same summer. I cannot begin to tell you how much he looks forward to these camps every year. My son is an above-average student who loves to learn and can become bored if not challenged.” The summer camps at My Learning Studio have always kept him interested and challenged by learning new things in the areas of science, math and engineering.” Lori LaCasse, Parent
"My Learning Studio is a great experience." Michaela M.
“Our children have been attending the summer camps provided by My Learning Studio for the past 6 years. Every year, these camps have provided a solid learning environment and they have enriched our children’s lives tremendously – not only academically, but socially as well.” Christine & Jay Racz, Parents & Professionals
"They are always there to help me and teach me something new." Zack B.
“My name is David. I’m eight years old. I’ve taken four or five summer science camps at My Learning Studio. The best one was Rockets, Volcanoes and Things That Go BOOM! I love science, and I have learned a lot in the camps. They were great.” David, student
